School of Managment and Commerce organized an Alumni Talk Session on “Career Advancement on opportunities”. Mr. Karan Khurana CEO, global Peripheral Solutions, Alumnus, KRMU was invited as the guest speaker for the session who provided invaluable insights into his career journey . The main aim was to provide students a platform for networking, mentorship and guidance that emphasized the importance of alumni connections in one’s professional journey. He motivated students to pay attention in the classes and work hard.

The School of Management and Commerce, in collaboration with IIDE – The Digital School, successfully organised a Case Study Competition The event offered students an excellent platform to apply their analytical and strategic thinking to real-world business challenges. Participants showcased creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through innovative solutions that reflected a strong grasp of marketing strategies and consumer insights. The session was graced by Mr. Sunit Xalxo, Digital Marketing Educator and Strategist at IIDE, who shared valuable insights on digital trends and the importance of data-driven decision-making. The competition concluded with the announcement of the winning teams, who were awarded certificates and prizes for their outstanding performance. This collaborative initiative between K.R. Mangalam University and IIDE fostered experiential learning and strengthened the industry-academia partnership, preparing students for the evolving digital business world.

Mangalam University proudly kicked off Digital Transformation Week (DTW) 2025, setting the stage for an immersive journey into the future of digital innovation! The event began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and progress. Mr. Sayam Sengar – Digital Transformation Expert & Corporate Trainer, Mr. Bhavtosh Sisodiya, Mr. Pankaj Pahwa, and Ms. Poornima Panda Representatives from Croma Campus were part of this session. A thought-provoking session by Mr. Sayam Sengar provided students with key insights into the ever-evolving digital landscape, highlighting the transformative impact of AI, cloud computing, automation, and data-driven decision-making on modern businesses. DTW 2025 is designed to equip students with in-demand digital skills, ensuring they remain competitive in the evolving job market. The certification courses, in collaboration with Croma Campus, focused on SAP FICO – Mastering enterprise financial management, AWS – Exploring cloud computing and its applications, Digital Marketing with Gen AI – Leveraging AI-powered marketing strategies. With expert-led training, hands-on learning, and real-world case studies, DTW 2025 is set to transform students into future-ready professionals who can lead the digital revolution.

School of Management and Commerce organised a placement talk for MBA students. Experts took the session from Imarticus Learning where Mr. Hitendar Yadav and Ms. Sonia shared valuable insights into the current job market and the skills necessary for success in various sectors. Mr. Yadav emphasized the significance of networking and building a personal brand, while Ms. Sonia provided an overview of the courses offered by Imarticus Learning, designed to equip students with in-demand skills. They also discussed trends in recruitment and the vital role of internships in securing job placements. Attendees found the session highly beneficial, gaining insights into preparing for their future careers.

School of Management and Commerce organized an extension activity on Financial Inclusiveness student volunteers got the opportunity to visit Nuh village. Students had the opportunity to delve into the complex issue of financial inclusion, with a particular focus on its impact on women in the region. Our visit aimed to better comprehend the challenges women face in accessing financial services, the factors contributing to their financial exclusion, and potential avenues for improvement. Several key observations emerged from interactions with local women.

School of Management and Commerce organized an industrial visit to “Smartivity Labs Pvt.Ltd.” in Manesar, Gurugram. The main focus of the visit was to provide an enlightening glimpse into the world of advanced manufacturing and sustainability practices. Students got the opportunity to witness cutting-edge technology in action, gaining firsthand insights into production processes, quality control measures, and innovative research and development initiatives. The visit highlighted Smartivity unwavering commitment to sustainability, showcasing their impressive efforts to reduce environmental impact and promote eco-friendly practices.

The School of Management and Commerce organised an insightful industrial visit for students to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd., Sonipat. During the visit, students were given a behind-the-scenes look into the production processes of Yakult, one of the leading probiotic drink manufacturers in the world. They were introduced to various aspects of the manufacturing process, including quality control, hygiene standards, and the technology used in creating the probiotic beverage. The team at Yakult provided valuable insights into their operations and answered student queries on production, packaging, and distribution strategies. This industrial visit provided the students with an enriching learning experience, bridging the gap between classroom theory and real-world industrial practices, while also highlighting the significance of operational excellence in the FMCG sector.

School of Management and Commerce organised two Industry Immersion Sessions wherein Mr. Jitender Arora, Director – Operations & Communication Waheguru Travels Group and Mr. Vivek Ranjan, Head of Partnership, SkillAcademy by Testbook were the guest speaker for these events. The session helped them understand the nitty gritty of the Travel Industry and Edu Tech Industry. These sessions also exposed them to the career opportunities in these respective industries.

The School of Management and Commerce successfully organised the International Conference on Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Business Transformation (ITSBT-2025) in hybrid mode. In collaboration with the University of Sydney, Belarus State Economic University, J&K Economic Association, and S.S. International, the conference brought together researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from across the globe to deliberate on innovation-driven sustainable business practices.
The event featured distinguished keynote speakers including Prof. Arvind Sahay (Director, MDI), Mr. Amit Sinha (Former COO, PayTM), Mr. Binaya Bhushan Panda (COO, Gensol Group), and Dr. Firdous Malik (University of People, USA). International speakers from Belarus, Turkey, and Malta contributed global perspectives to the academic discourse.
A major highlight of the conference was the presentation of over 150 national and international research papers by scholars, researchers, and doctoral students. These papers, presented both online and offline, explored diverse dimensions of sustainable and technology-enabled business transformation. Expert session chairs provided constructive feedback and facilitated meaningful discussions.
Prof. (Dr.) Raghuvir Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of KRMU, delivered a thought-provoking address emphasizing the university’s commitment to innovation and research. The conference concluded with impactful sessions by Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Nigam, Prof. (Dr.) Anirban Chakraborty (JNU), and Dr. Jasmeet Kaur Lamba (OP Jindal Global University)

School of Management and Commerce organized a special lecture on Leverage Generative AI in Digital Marketing: From Personalization to Optimization students. The event was organized in collaboration with IMARTICUS Learning. The speaker for this master class was Ms. Yamini Katara. Students were equipped with the knowledge and skills to leverage generative AI for a more efficient, personalized, and results-driven digital marketing strategy. They learned to automate tasks, create high-quality content, personalize customer experiences, and gain a competitive edge in the ever-evolving marketing landscape.

School of Management and Commerce (SOMC) hosted an insightful workshop on “Harnessing Intellectual Property for Growth: Strategic Insights for Entrepreneurs and Startups.” Led by Mr. Venkatesh Bharti, Director of Vastav Intellect IP Solutions, the session enlightened MBA students on the importance of IP in driving business growth and innovation. The event equipped students with valuable strategies for future entrepreneurial success.

K.R. Mangalam Investment Club organized a seminar on the topic “Introduction to KIC and Student Investment Fund.” The aim of the seminar was to create awareness among students about the activities of the club and the functioning of the student investment fund. The seminar began with an introduction by Mr. Ritesh Nimker, who is an experienced finance professional and a member of the investment club, provided an overview of the club’s goals and objectives, emphasizing the importance of financial literacy among students. Dr. Divya Singh, a renowned expert in finance delved into the various investment strategies employed by the club and highlighted the potential benefits and risks associated with investing. Dr. Pushpendra Singh, the faculty advisor of the club, presented the concept of the student investment fund. He explained how the fund operates and how students can contribute to its growth. The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to clarify their doubts and seek further information.
Overall, the seminar was a great success, with students gaining valuable knowledge about the K.R. Mangalam Investment Club and the student investment fund.

We had the honour of hosting Ms. Sonal Goel (IAS) for a powerful session on “Engage & Influence: Advanced Communication and PR Techniques”. From advanced communication strategies to real-world PR insights, the session inspired our students and faculty to communicate, influence, and lead with impact. The primary objective of the lecture was to enhance the communication and public relations competencies of students and faculty by Providing a deep understanding of advanced communication strategies, demonstrating how to influence and engage diverse audiences effectively and Sharing real-world PR techniques and case studies. It encouraged participants to adopt professional communication best practices in their academic, professional, and social interactions. A big thank you to Ms. Sonal Goel (IAS) for sharing her invaluable knowledge and to everyone who made this event a success.

Chetna Society organized a session on “Peak Performance: Unleashing the full potential”. The resource person Mr. Krishan Kumar, Assistant Professor. The objective of the session was to understand the concept of peak performance, exploring its significance, and key components so as to unleash its potential in the best possible manner. He stated that Peak performance is not a fixed state but a continuous journey of improvement and growth. It requires the right mindset, motivation, skills, and well-being. Organizations and individuals that invest in unleashing their potential can achieve outstanding results, fostering success and innovation in various domains. Students participated in this session with full enthusiasm.

The School of Management and Commerce had the privilege of hosting four distinguished corporate leaders during the Deeksharambh 2024 Student Induction Program. Mr. Anand Sengupta, Global ERP Delivery Leader, shared his extensive experience in digital technology and SAP ERP implementations. Ms. Somya Shahi, Research & Advisory Lead at Accenture, discussed her work in strategy and growth, particularly in technology, EdTech, and FinTech, and her commitment to diversity and inclusion. Ms. Sanya Shahi, Senior Manager at Smart Freight Centre, provided insights into transport and logistics, focusing on multi-modal logistics and operational efficiency. Mr. Ronit Kumar, Strategy and Growth Professional, spoke about his experience in AgriTech and FinTech, emphasizing sustainability and inclusive leadership. Their sessions covered a range of topics, from digital transformation to growth strategy and transport logistics, leaving a lasting impact on the students.
