Field Visit to Council of Scientific and Industrial Research

The School of Medical and Allied Sciences organised a field visit to the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB), New Delhi. The visit, themed “A Journey Through Pharmaceutical Excellence,” aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the pharmaceutical sector. Students explored key departments such as behaviour analysis, genomics, and formulation, witnessing firsthand how theoretical concepts are applied in pharmaceutical development and research. Interactions with professionals deepened their understanding of data management, vaccine design, and drug formulation processes. The visit was highly educational, expanding students’ practical knowledge and providing valuable insights into pharmaceutical development.
